I just went to pick up something at a local store in the little town I live close to and there was an event happening with lots of people from out of town. I guess it was a good day to protest so I joined the many in the middle of the town for awhile this afternoon.

Today we found my favorite hiking trails I’ve been on in Kentucky. I’m embarrassed to say; it’s 15 miles from our house !!!!!! In my defense; it’s only been open to the public a few years !!! Dana made it up the stairs; but passed on the ladder parts of the climb 😂😂😂 She says I’m a 60 y/o goat 😂😂

Ahead of Hungarian elections, I think of my parents, who fled when Soviet tanks crushed the 1956 uprising. They began a new life stateside, then returned to Tata, Hungary after four decades. They never gave up hope, that Hungary will be a free, democratic, prosperous nation. 🕊️

I'd like to pause and thank you all for your support during the hectic run-up to Election Day in Hungary. My posts of late have been singular in focus, sharing my view from the ground here in Budapest. Really appreciate the likes and retweets, and words of encouragement. 🙏🏼🌞🕊️
