I wanted folks that wonder how a bill from US healthcare looks to have the chance to see one. This is for back surgery to correct scoliosis. The amount at the bottom is what I pay. This is just for the surgery, there will be another bill for the hospital stay and a bill from the anesthesiologist.

Help me with something I don't quite understand, if our own government holds an equity stake in the USA, then it's communist or socialist, but if some other gov't, thru its sovereign wealth fund or autocratic spending, owns similar stakes here, "conservatives" love it.

People who have universal healthcare, is it a separate tax so you know how much you pay in? For my son I pay $375 a month ($4500 per year) but he had an emergency room visit this year that my share of is about $2200. So if you pay less than $6700 a year I would have saved money there.

It seems like people used to bring fresh baked goods to other people just for no reason. Did that really happen? We should bring that back. I want fresh baked bread for no reason and I have a recipe for snickerdoodles that makes way too many.
