We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.

Rewatching The Holiday has become such a treasured tradition for me that I legitimately plan it like an event. I need no distractions, the comfiest clothes and blankets, the perfect snack, and it has to be juuust before Christmas. I look forward to it almost as much as Christmas itself. 🥹

Finally at my laptop for a writing session! This revision has been a lot of plot hole filling, continuity correcting, and character arc tweaking. Small fixes, but tedious work! Trying to knock over as few dominoes as possible ✨

I did it!!! The first draft of GaleHouse WIP is DONE!!! After 6 years of sitting on the back burner, 6 months of drafting, and 83k words, my adult gothic about cursed monsters is DONE, FINISHED, and I can finally start revising!! So excited for the future of this book 🥹🤍🫀🕯️

I’m just 2 scenes away from finishing the first draft of The House of Gale, my Victorian gothic wip! I first dreamed of this project back in 2018, set it aside all these years, and started redrafting it this July. I can’t wait to bring her into the query trenches soon! 👀🤍🫀

I’ve been starting my rewrite of Cole Manor while I wait for beta feedback on Becoming Juliet, and it has been going so well! The first two chapters are done and (hopefully) make my opening more concise and believable, and I’m enjoying it so much! I always love coming back to this story. 🥹🖤🍂🩰🎻🎹
