Welp. If there's no SNAP on November 1st, my family loses 1/3 of our food budget for the month. We have no cell plans, no car payments, no cable tv. We pay taxes, utilities, and food, so cutting is hard. With two diabetics in the house, options are limited, but we'll figure it out. We always do.

I am SO OVER a healthcare system that makes it easier to place our loved ones in a nursing home than to get an aide to help out at home at less than 1/4 the cost. My husband wants to be home. We want him home. The inexpensive option makes sense. So why is it such a challenge to get the help we need?
