Yeah, at this point I don't really get paying for a subscription to the Washington Post. If you get it for free (like I get the NY Times for free through work), then sure. It's free. 🤷 But paying $140/year to an org that has repeatedly shown it doesn't care about news or journalism? No thank you.

When I cancelled my WaPo subscription, I did feel somewhat bad about leaving the good journalists that were still there. Since then, Bezos has killed basically everything I did like about the paper.

I read this story three times while editing just to process it. When state leaders talk about ending prenatal care for immigrant women, it's undeniable that when they say they are "pro life," they mean "pro white life."

Just saying - I really wish there was a way to meet fellow women's sports fans that didn't involve going to a game or a sports bar. There are no pro teams near me, & while there is a new women's sports bar in town (yay Chapstick Nashville!), I don't drink. So going to a sports bar always feels odd.🤷

I would love for this to happen. Having said that, a big part of me would also prefer the WNBA be separate from the NBA, but that's not going to happen (if ever) anytime soon, so this may just be wishful thinking.
