coining a term i call 'schrodinger's misogyny' where a pro wrestler says something casually misogynistic but we're expected to treat it as both 1. not actually misogynistic because women just Overreact or 2. intentional but ok bc it's meant to be heel work (even if the wrestler is a face)

I also think if you’re going to champion women’s wrestling and run a promotion for women’s wrestlers perhaps you shouldn’t use such degrading language about women. But that’s just my take.

Of course, I am now feeling compelled to say that I don’t think (have never thought) he has any malicious intent, nor is he doing anything other than what he thinks is best. It’s always just a question of no one knowing what is best all the time, and needing to listen to suggestions to improve.

Women in wrestling are not a division. Cruiserweights. That's a division. Tag teams. That's another one. Divisions exist to DIVIDE up the roster into more manageable sections, because there are so many dudes that you need to differentiate them all somehow Women aren't a division. They're a roster

This is what I said far less eloquently and far more angrily after the Tom interview. Andy is trying, and I respect that, but until he steps outside of his own experiences and how he personally feels about issues, he’s not going to create significant change.
