New Divvy charging station just went in outside the Obama Presidential Center. Hyde Park’s Divvy network keeps growing, and it’s part of the push toward docked charging stations that keeps bike batteries topped off while reducing the need for roaming battery swaps.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We were out yesterday capturing the @bikegridnow.org 11th Ward Bike Protest for a Bike Grid, riding along the stretch of Halsted where Riley O'Neil was killed one week ago, and delivering signs and feedback to 11th Ward Alderwoman Nicole Lee.

"The best way to honor Riley is not just to remember him, though he deserves to be remembered. It’s to continue the work he cared so deeply about. To keep fighting for streets where people can move safely. To keep building cities that value human life over speed and convenience."

We were out last night and took some photos at the jam and vigil ride for Riley O'Neil (hosted by @bikegridnow.org), a CDOT employee who spent his life working to make biking safer in Chicago, and was killed in a crash in Bridgeport on Friday June, 5th. Rest in Peace, Riley.

It was another beautiful day for a bike bus, this time in Ravenswood, hosted by @bikegridnow.org, with all sorts of special guests! These bike busses help kids get outside, socialize, and get some exercise before a big day at school, while marshals keep the ride safe!

We bought our cargo bike on Upway for 40% retail with 600 miles on it. It's an amazing kid and cargo hauler, and turns heads every day. You can even carry a grandpa in it if you want! Super satisfied customers. So far we're putting ~250 a month on it, most of which would be in a car otherwise.
