Since I picked up writing the novel again, I've been looking into the current fantasy scene. I'm a slow reader, and since the pandemic, I've had a lot of trouble concentrating on reading as I used to. I have been interested in some writing advice online, and I feel that I disagree with it a lot.

While researching for the video on ‘Killer7’, I read one review during its release that defines it as “an experiment that sometimes forgets to be fun” which may be the succinct definition of Suda51's entire body of work.

I haven't played ‘Dispatch’, but seeing that take describing it as ‘Twilight for men’, I can only say: a) ‘Twilight’ was fun b) Romantasy for men is a good thing too.
