The Supreme Court is an illegitimate institution built on minority rule. 5 of the 6 Republican justices were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote for their first term and confirmed by senates that Republicans controlled despite Democrats winning more votes and representing more people

The thing you need to understand is that there are 2 (TWO) different method for amending the constitution 1) The process laid out in the constititon itself (conventions, or 2/3's of both houses followed by 3/4 of states ratifying) OR 2) find five votes on the Supreme Court.

When all the media navel gazing happens about how the court doesn’t behave like our partisan branches of government and often “delivers defeats” to Trump, remember that FOUR OF THEM VOTED TO LET HIM OVERTURN THE FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT VIA EXECUTIVE ORDER.

This is about as bad as it could’ve realistically been. Court packing is undeniable, if someone doesn’t promise to support it they haven’t earned your vote.
