Today, cooler weather. I worked on arrangements for my next album, taught lessons on Bach, Frantz Casseus, and John Coltrane, drove my daughter all over town to her afterschool activities. It’s shaping up to be a nice fall despite the fact that we are racing towards full blown fascism. 🍂

Getting a few more listens in this morning, and WOW this Shane Parish live album is so wonderful. Huge dynamic range here, it had me leaning in close for the tiniest moves, and then later on I'd be getting knocked back like the Maxell cassette ad guy. But it never felt sudden, it always made sense.
