I've been reading the parent thread and the reactions that it usually creates, but this is my favourite bit. Good design respects time. It doesn't mean that you have limited time to do x, it means that time you spend doing x should be engaging. Flow/Pace are usually gm loaded when it shouldn't be.

Lots of talk of worldbuilding and stuff I'm seeing so here's my ladle in the pot. I like to know pointers about the world. I.e. AI is limited, the way to your true home is lost, travel is tightly controlled. Think of these as lines. Colour inside first, then add new lines to make stories

4 The solution was the Character Generation Sheet. A printed sheet which takes players through the stages of making a character. It allowed experienced Role-players to crack on with making their characters and helped me support the less experienced participants. 4

tiny #TTRPG reviews: Theatrix Diceless, narrativist RPG. A genre-emulation game and the plan was to have sourcebooks for different settings and genres. Sadly, the rules were explained with the panache of stereo instructions & the one setting book was for an obscure x-rated comic. Weird.

#ttrpg idea: (mostly so I get it out of my head) Pokemon type rpg where the pokemon are all equips that can learn different abilities but each ability drains their health. Once drained they need to retreat back into the ball and are unusable for the rest of the session/ until healed.
