So my wierd story for anthrocon, someone knocked on our door at 1am saying they hid some liquor in our room a year ago. It was just too late, we've got a dealers table to wake up to and all that, maybe later guys. The next morning I investigated though... and... uhh.. yep.

4th of July at #anthrocon was fun. I took my kigu and newer pup mask out. Not something I normally wear around. I wanted to wear the full fursuit but fireworks + contacts instead of glasses wouldn't be great. Anyway it was fun... little hot.

This is an awesome test. I feel like I can identify AI well is current media but this has a larger gamut of art. Try it. Its maybe 10 minutes. I got 15/20. Dont post comments with answers!

Listen. I spent more than a decade as a theatrical technician, rigging stages, hanging lights, flying scenery, etc. The number of times I have dropped anything on a stage with performers on it is zero. The number of times I’ve dropped something that might’ve killed someone is zero. This is major.

I am at Anthrocon, I saw someone in the elevator wearing 3 MFF lanyards so I had just pop in.. those look awesome! I suck at starting random conversations... I designed what you are wearing is the only hope I've got.

Given that there is extreme heat.. going to a convention... do I bring long jeans? Nah. Do I bring any jackets? No the night low is 70 degrees. Do I bring a full body fur costume... hrmmm... I hate having to decide.

This is really neat. The thing I did not realize until I saw DBruin wearing one in person is you don't stand face to face when talking to people usually, so the eye effect is more noticable in person on a lanyard.

Today was a good day. I took my rainbow dog out to our local pride fest and it went over pretty well! If you've never suited in public, random people excited to get a photo with you is a really cool feeling. It also feels great to own the moment, no shame, I'm here and doing this.

I'm going to do something scary tomorrow. I don't think I've actually fursuited locally, but its pride tomorrow so the rainbow dalmatian is coming out. 77 degrees is way better than its been in prior years.

Someone close is setting off fireworks and I was hopeful for a moment.

I am being put on a new medication, that shouldnt cost me anything as long as I have my current insurance, or would be 48k a year without. Potential lay offs are coming in less than 30 days. I feel like giving up.

I saw a goofy tik tok thing. Put a big handful of haribo with some sprite (i used zero), let them soak overnight, they absorb it all and double in size. Freeze and it makes a wierd frozen item. Entirely different texture, like a more solid Italian ice.

There's an episode of Third Rock from the Sun, where Dick is perplexed that a lunchlady just doesn't like him and nothing he can do will change it. That one episode really stuck to me, as someone that... I guess everyone wants to be liked right?

My day was too many meetings, dog tried to do a showdown with a goose, then later fell and some kids laughed at me... then went to a town fair to see some friends and eat a healthy dinner of corn, cheese and deep fried snickers. I'm glad my ankle didnt sprain. Finished 'Mating Season'.

Doing that thing at work where you show a slide and explain your history. 19 years working here, these are my past projects, show my dogs, heres a few hobbies. I've got this photo on the slide. It's a fun surprise in a meeting to explain that's not a photo op, I'm the dog.

Downers Grove started a tik tok to post clips from their city meetings. Something few normally see. One person spoke up asking them to not declare June pride month. The city very firmly said shut up. No one would have seen this... but it went viral and now its on the evening news.

I went to physical therapy for the first time today. I was mostly expecting exercises and did not realize half of it was massage. Felt very awkward but it was nice. Learned quite a lot for an hour also.

It's always so interesting how fast an anime con clears out vs a furry con. Only an hour since den closed and 90% of folks are like gone. Furries would be in their fursuits til their flight starts boarding. 😂

I have 3 characters and one of them was basically coping with/orginally accepting being gay. That part of me has been just me for so long I haven't worn it in a long time. I never got great photos of this suit but memory wise these were special to me.
