Today was my 19th work anniversary. In 2 more years they let me drink at work.

They took my parent's gardener. They have a very small house in an old folks community but they are in their 80s, they can't do that work. He was literately just getting food at Culver's and got picked up. This isn't making America better, it's just fucked up.

The sears tower can light up with certain colors which is interesting from a marketing point of view, but fucked when you consider it's a way for billionaires to spend a few dozen grand to get a 5 second blurb on the news I've already forgotten

In the sixteenth century, one style of bed had ropes tied as a support structure for a mattress. If guests overstayed their welcome maids would purposely loosen these ropes to make the beds uncomfortable. Something about this 'fact' of how to be a jerk 500 years ago surviving amuses me.

I made an 18 hour brisket for the house. Electric pellet smokers feel like cheating. It was on quick sale so $35 for dinner for 4 is how I feel wins at this age.

So the results... melting a single flavor marshmallow you can smell it strongly. Orange seems the least distinct. They do taste like orange/lime/lemon/strawberry Rice Krispies. Also, intrusive thoughts like this is why I'm fat.

Alright.. I'm looking at hotel photos to pick one out for a night and this cracked me up.

I bought some tiny 'fruit flavored' marshmallows, 4 colors. I'm not sure I trust it's 4 distinct flavors. I'm thinking of separating them and making rice krispies in 4 different colors... but that feels like the type of thing a cereal killer might do.

I had a sleep study last night to confirm what I already know. Its made the weekend just one very long day with some torture in the middle... and not the fun kind.

I had a dream we bought a massive school and converted it into living areas. We were having a social with lots of guests and I was putting up signs to help people navigate the confusing layout. I woke up and remembered my top priority today is auditing the giant excel sheet of convention signage :(

Theres been a lot of great movies lately. Superman was good but.. there were a couple plot/scenes in it that felt dumb to me. I didnt like the twist also. Fantastic 4 was fun with good pacing. Bad Guys was a perfect sequel. 👌

There's a recall on a window air conditioning unit and they supplied us with a box. The instructions say 'wrap unit in supplied bubble wrap'. Lol ok.
