One of the things I've found really fascinating about the reactions to the new Masters of the Universe film is how many different interpretations there are for the movie. For a popcorn flick that understands what it is, there's a lot of people who want to see their own politics or world view in it.

I really love the new Masters of the Universe movie. The music is amazing, the cast really great and a fun experience all around. Also? Skeletor and Evil-Lyn’s “We saw you across the battlefield and we really dig your vibe” energy is off the charts and it’s hilarious.

I’m convinced that a lot of people, myself included, have been in a creative rut because of doomscrolling and the like. Eventually it wears you down. But hey, if one person gets through the day because of what you create, it’s worth it. And that one person can be you.
