I'll keep repeating it til' I'm blue in the face - making comics is actually an exceptionally difficult task. I'm quick as hell but each page I draw represents about 10-20 hours of work from writing to final output. I deserve to be paid for that work.

Ya'll don't give indie comic creators enough credit. Do you know how much effort it takes to illustrate a single picture? Apply that several times over to one comic page. Now apply that to one person drawing all the comic pages. Yeah. It's a lot of work.

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions. Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail. Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos. Everyone: INCREASE THE CALLS.
