Going back to Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, this game is 9 years old.... and it's still the best looking game out ever. Some games have amazing realistic subsurface texture work, better SSAO lighting, shadows aren't stencil.
But when did graphics actually emulate something else? Yoshi's Island on the SNES
