👀 I’m a visual learner. So after I finished training, I watched triathletes do their course training. Newbies, return triathletes. And yes, there are literal Olympians out here. 🏊🏾

I will try not to focus on what I perceive as “failure” or “ not doing well”. Open water swim esp in choppy water, ain’t easy. Yes I freaked out a bit.. and cried for sure. But I didn’t give up. We get to race, but not guaranteed to “win” or even finish entire course. But I’ll sure fucking try!

Welp. I have no idea how my Saturday Tri Supersprint will turn out.. last night, I had an open water clinic. First time in wetsuit (which to my surprise, I got used to).. but the choppy waves and post storm water of Lake Michigan 😟 not so sure. I did my best, didn’t make it to designated buoy..
