It's not in Iran's interests to get oil moving through the Strait any time soon: the longer the crisis, the more economic damage to the US and its allies, and hence, the more blowback on Trump and reputational damage to the US. If I were in their shoes, I would drag it out as long as possible.

And when they do, they will draft Democrat registered voters as first priority. Guarantee it. There is no bottom with this crowd.
