Well, Friday was my last day at Polygon after a seven-year run. Wish I was surprised about being laid off, but with the current state of the media and economy, this has felt inevitable for a long time. So if you know anyone who needs a diligent deep-dive editor or writer, I'm on the market.

So, these guys are actually comic book mustache twirling evil. I messaged them on Instagram last night encouraging them to respect the wishes of the people asking to be removed from their site. They gave me a canned response, and then ADDED me to the website.

go tell your favorite artists you like their work. you may think they hear it enough or your praise would be identical to someone else's so you say nothing, but i promise you they would love to hear it. and sometimes they need to hear it.

Anyway support a now 10 years and running website (which I think is an archive at this point) with nearly 8 years of tabletop news and criticism. Worker owned and operated. No paywalls, no AI. Ever.

Just abysmal, site seems to be down but keep up the bullying

There may be plenty of professional disagreements among TTRPG creators and journalists but the fastest way to unite everyone is try to shove AI into the space
