A lady stopped us on our walk this morning to ask about my dog. I told her he was a stray we took in, and she was like "thank you for being such a kind person!" People keep saying this, but I'm just like "free dog, and he's already trained and had his shots. I'm so lucky to get to a dog for free."

Tldr- someone at my job spotted this stray dog with no collar in the neighborhood, we had him scanned and contacted the person listed on his microchip, they said they adopted him out to someone else, we've had no response from that owner. It's looking like he was abandoned and might be ours now.
