The arena is part of larger adaptive reuse effort to repurpose the mall into something modern without destroying the whole building altogether. I think this is a great idea and if this works, which would give other malls hope at repurposing them!

Today I was a guest judge for a group of 9th graders at Fredrick Douglas High School. The students presented a series of plans on how to address vacancies in metro Atlanta. The students gave so many out the box ideas and it was refreshing to see how many solutions were given.
