We could have ID cards which would be very useful. We could have a voting system that reflects the population. We could have a decent national broadcast news and politics. But we seem to cock much of it up.

Whether the ID is a serious or workable idea is debatable. But at least Labour has control of the topic for a change.

Lisa Nandy is on to explain the ID proposal. But Robinson keeps interrupting to raise his red herrings so we don't get a full explanation, only of his complaints.

Doesn't this ID proposal mean everyone has to register to get the ID? Therefore all immigrants would be registered on arrival.

Did you watch The Hack? I can't believe papers have gotten away with destroying lives for so long. That's why I've signed the petition, set up by Hugh Grant and other phone hacking victims, to demand fair, independent regulation. Join me:

He hasn't a clue. With an ageing population we can't maintain living standards without migration. Migration has had a very marginal effect on lower wages. Free movement brought young educated enthusiastic workers to the Uk.

Migrants are people and can do anything anyone else can. It's not difficult but for reasons of political divisiveness they try to make it a big issue. They being the BBC, MSM, right wing politicians.

Little local shops will not flourish while the majority of people shop for stuff online. I tried to find something locally last week & the local go-to shop told me to go online to find it. Without a level playing field clicks v bricks this won't change. Meanwhile, how about converting to homes
