The editing decision was not worthy of note when it was broadcast. It was entirely suitable for the context of the show, in that it was compressing time to illustrate a larger news story. Common practice. Taken out of context, it'll look odd. Those using it as proof of bias are liars

We've heard several times this morning that the US senate has passed a biil to end the government shutdown at least temporarily, and the House of Representatives now has to pass it. That's the House which has been closed for three months to stop a swearing in and a vote on Epstein stuff.
