A tarantula in the process of molting.
That exuvia (old exoskeleton), though, is so creepy looking 😳😱😬
Freshly molted tarantulas often appear in vibrant, iridescent colors like this bright blue, which will eventually fade to more muted tones as the new exoskeleton hardens.
