The Dave Doeren tenure is about to come to an end. The question now is, does NC State pull the plug soon, or do they allow him to *retire* at the end of the season? I still think he’s walks out of Carter-Finley for the final time with a win over Bill Belichick.

Based on a handful of sources I talked with today, it is much more likely that the coach openings in the WNBA are filled by W or NBA assistants rather than college head coaches. Simply put, most WNBA owners aren't willing to pay top dollar to poach the best college coaches.
