I've had an uptick in interest with the contract work I apply for (at least with indies) and I bet it's because my emails are clearly not AI. I just write how I talk without stilted, vague, jargon-laden cliches, and I'm pretty sure that puts me on a short list now in a way it didn't before.

One cool thing about node based programming is how much you can visualize making your code cleaner. When it sucks, spaghetti code looks like literal spaghetti, but cleaning it up instills zen akin to looking at those PC builds with good cable management.

I'm surprised just how different On-Rails and All-Range modes are, now that I'm really trying to get On-Rails feeling right. Closer camera, lower input sensitivity for better accuracy, a bit of drift towards center... a million little things I didn't notice until I had to make it 😵

All the fresh attention on Starfox is ultimately good for me in the sense that I can't get lazy with making a game that plays acceptably similar. If I had hair I'd be pulling it out trying to get things right though.
