I think to reduce Caine down to “he’s just like AM now” is a bit too simple; I view him less as a villain and a monster, and more as a neglected child having a tantrum. His breakdown, while certainly malicious, was driven by anguish and confusion at the world rather than solely anger or hate.

That feel when you don't really listen to nerdcore much because you generally don't like much of it, and keep being told x nerdcore artist did x shitty thing multiple times. Kind of makes a man not want to do more fan song vocals unless I know and trust the artist!!

Yeeeaaaahhh this sucks a lot. Some people might have recorded a song for a crappy artist only to find out later, genuinely still have no idea, or are stuck in the unenviable position of debating whether to cut off certain friends or associations - especially when hearsay comes into play.
