We need an independent inquiry into the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and British public figures and institutions, and whether they had involvement in or awareness of his crimes, assisted in covering up child sexual abuse, and if due diligence was done for appointments to public roles.

The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is about to be thrown from office by his own party. Probably in the next 24hrs. Not because he’s in the Epstein files, but because he hired someone who was. That Trump remains President (largely unchallenged) will stain America’s global reputation for 100 years.

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.

Yes, absolutely! And the extent and power of Mandelson's networks actively undermining Corbyn - showing all he was up against - warrants some re-assessment of how skilled a leader Corbyn was too.

Mandelson’s malign influence runs right through the heart of this Government. Not least in the govt’s NHS data deal with Palantir – a spy-tech firm co-founded by a man who thinks the NHS should be ‘ripped up.’ I've written to Wes Streeting urging him to ditch this dangerous deal.

It's not about about Starmer's judgement - and nothing to do with the vetting process! It's about power. And about values. Starmer's in power because of McSweeney. Both are in power because of Mandelson. That's why he got the job - and why both needed replacing long before all this came out.
