I saw people on Mastodon get mad at Cider because their new version is Absolutely Proprietary. I wish I could sympathise but I also don't care about religious ideology. The idea of FOSS is good but I also want things to work. As long as Cider works, I'm fine.

I don't do art for others sake, I don't do art to please myself with compliments and praise. I don't need such. I do art as a form of emotional expression. It's ehy I've been doing 3D art for years now with breaks here and there. Everything I made has a meaning, whether it's small or big.

So I tried VMware on CachyOS on both KDE and GNOME. Both result in VMware crashing if XWayland doesn't have a proper xbpmap set. Both also have issues with the clipboard - KDE will update the clipboard at least if you click the title bar, GNOME will not - meaning clipboard sync on GN[...]
