I did not know - but am unsurprised to find out - that Ernie Coombs (Mr Dressup) & Mr Rogers were good friends (to the extent that Roger’s was best man at Coombs’ wedding). As a child I was as influenced by Mr Dressup as I was by Sesame Street. In fact my two cats were called Casey & Finnegan.

Have been out for our traditional Christmas Day walk in Queens Park with Teddy, where he has once again endured being humiliated as a reindeer. Sadly this will be the last walk we have with Teddy as his kidney’s are failing. But, while we have him with us, he makes any who meet him smile.

Just back from an intense/incredibly productive trip to Oberkochen @zeiss-microscopy.bsky.social testing out the Lightfield4D & LSM990 microsystems. Completely being blown away by their speed & resolution. The range/capabilities of the systems on show at Zeiss customer care centre is overwhelming.
