Very rarely do I agree with every point someone makes in a blog post… however, I almost strained my neck nodding along to this one.

A shout-out, should they still be necessary, for the GOV.UK prototype kit. Such an amazing open-source toolset for non-specialists to try things out. The likes of Mozilla aside, I can't see many organisations outside the public sector putting such high-quality things out there for free.

Oh man, so many friends and colleagues are speaking at #SDinGov this year. I’m so gutted I’m missing it in person. Can’t wait for those videos 📽️

Highlight of day 2 #SDinGov was learning from forms and interaction design masters @cjforms.bsky.social and @vickytnz.bsky.social. In their session on building truly accessible forms, we looked at the challenges around collecting phone numbers, and there was a surprising amount to consider.
