I had a call with folks in Aberdeen today. One of the spontaneous moments was when Karen said, excitedly: "Our next bookgroup is reading this one by Sarah Lathan." I snapped a photo & said I would be glad to share widely their enthusiasm for Sarah's insights on relational practice.

Visual timetables = cheat code for felt‑safety. Turning confusing days into concrete steps builds predictability.

I've been doing HeartMath every day for 100 days, here is what I have noticed: * Improved memory and focus * Improved emotional resilience * Increase in ability to regulate during moments of stress * Improved relationships * Feeling of being at ease in my own body @anam-alba.bsky.social

I tried out the HeartMath boardgame "Wild Ride to the Heart" today with an older pupil, then a younger pupil. It was enjoyed by both. A fun way to open up discussions about emotions @anam-alba.bsky.social

We celebrated the official opening of our Kit Bag themed room. There has been a lot of hard work from our talented PSA, Mrs Lang who drew and painted each animal by hand. A beautiful space for our children.

Play is therapeutic, it's relational, regulatory, involves communication and cooperation, and boosts emotional wellbeing. It's a fundamental part of childhood. It was so beautiful to hear the interactions between these two pupils.

The impact of the #DaringVentures Course in Fife has been most remarkable. The creativity of attendees in rippling this information out to others and their willingness to weave it into their own lives. I find the stories emerging to be remarkable.

When we published the book #TheLittleIceberg in 2020, we truly had no idea what the story had the potential to lead to. This feels astounding for our team to look at the table of resources now available to children in Fife.

Thank you, Scottish Mediation, for today's session, which focused on scripting during & following conflict. An exciting collaboration in which we are co-creating resources and materials that will support the repair of a relationship following a rupture between adults and pupils.

Breath. It sounds so simple, but it is easy to forget to pay attention to it. I start this day #grateful that I know #breath is the first place to go if I start to get tense or anxious. Knowing this one tiny piece of information has changed my life.
