Don't know if this is our absolute worst or best video. Light on birds - heavy on ridiculousness. Like / subscribe and share with whoever cooks paella or does the most twerking in your house. ♠

Feedback: thanks for this informative, authoritative and funny series. Amazing cinematography and a smorgasbord of ace birds to boot BUT the background soundtrack is way too loud for my highly attuned rarity finding ears, to the point where I can hardly hear the guttural twang of regional accents. 😉

Eigg isn't connected to the UK national grid. Instead, we generate 90% to 95% of our electricity from wind, sun, & water (hydro). Community-owned Eigg Electric was switched on in 2008. Islanders are trained and employed to manage it. Electricity costs 27p per unit/kWh.

For the record, Project 2025, the blueprint for the incoming Trump administration, would privatize the National Weather Service, disband oceanic research (too climate "alarmist") and dismantle NOAA, which is the primary source of hurricane info.
