The only thing standing between you and your coworker's awful keyboard shortcut request was (1) the time it takes to put up and merge the PR and (2) your stubbornness. With Opus getting better every few months it's now more important than ever to be stubborn and hard to work with.

First flight out to Utah on a holiday weekend and we’ve got the whole row to ourselves. Multiple empty rows. Every time I’ve done this flight it’s been overbooked. A bad December and January really messing with UT tourism.

Has anyone revisited Alex Garland's Devs in light of the current moment in AI tech? It has a lot to say about people in tech with quasi-religious beliefs, which... seems relevant!

I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

This is not what is happening at all. The amount of misinformation on BlueSky about AI is insane, and it keeps promising that AI is all hype that is going away soon. A really dangerous position that cedes all AI policy and decisions about how it will be used to others. Also Futurism is clickbait
