I want to be clear. I’ve been to more than 20 conventions around the world now, interacting with countless people daily, and 99.9% have been so, so sweet and gracious to me and my castmates. It is so much easier to be an asshole online due to the anonymity. The world is better offline.

All of this indie stuff keeps making me want to share my stories and, just, MAKE STUFF. Does anyone else have this feeling where they just want to get their creations out there?

im gonna be honest i do not understand the "indie pilots act like first episodes" as a criticism. The reason why so many cartoon pilots were written like that was because they're being pitched to a company. Online Indie animation is being pitched to an audience.

Video games are a form of art. Anyone who says otherwise has no taste in culture.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an 8.5 / 10, pretty decent film for its runtime and what it has to offer. I really liked all the references and musical motifs, would have made my younger self jump up (pun intended) and down in the theater with joy.

Sci-Jewel is a match-3 strategy puzzle game that takes heavy inspiration from the Bejeweled franchise. It started out as a fan-project but was reworked into a spiritual successor. There are 12 single-player modes and 6 multiplayer modes, with 18 game modes overall. This is a Sci-Jewel thread.
