I've been getting into 35mm photography and recently went a little overboard ordering old cameras online. These are the first two: a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s and a Kodak Pony IV. Sadly, it looks like the Minolta is broken, but the Kodak seems to work. I'm testing it this weekend.

Book #1 of 2026: JESUS' SON by Denis Johnson Starting the year by rereading this for a book club. I'm mesmerized by the beauty Johnson is able to find and paint upon the mundane and the ugly. Objectively, I shouldn't want to live in this book, but I do.

Got a janky typewriter the other day from a coworker. I'm not sure what I'm gonna use it for, but I like the headspace it gets me in for writing, focused only on moving forward, accepting mistakes as they pop up.
