Changing things from the inside is hard, often demoralizing, work. Luna did it for years, despite facing seemingly constant microaggressions and anti-trans attitudes. Because someone has to do it. Cis people, we need to stand the fuck up. We need to do more and we need to be better.

Luna and I spent a long time talking about this decision, and I fully understand and support her in this choice to resign. I am saddened that the lack of movement within the DFL has meant that we are losing a fierce trans woman's voice within our party. It fucking sucks.

Today, I resigned all my DFL positions. I can no longer in good conscience support Amy Klobuchar for Governor, due to her votes for bills restricting trans healthcare and trans rights, and due to her making no effort to apologize for or atone for that. I can't go into Pride weekend supporting her.

It’s truly incredible how many miles of curb-separated bike paths make up the routes for the Saint Paul Classic. Meanwhile, the ride’s founder, Richard Arey, along with Bob Catanach, and the rest of their little Summit YIMBY crew are actively working to prevent similar infrastructure along Summit.
