Frankston is about 50 minutes south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula, on land traditionally owned by the Boonwurrung people. The town centre isn’t cute; it’s not like, “Oh, look at those beautiful old buildings.” It’s at the end of the metro line so there’s characters coming in from everywhere and it has a colourful energy.
