This is what I've been up to, painting a giant from @fenrisgames.com . He's painted to be an Issaries initiate in RuneQuest, so he's a trader. One of the giants from Gonn Orta's Castle in the classic Griffin Mountain campaign pack. He tries to speak softly and carry a big stick.

A quick sketch of an idea I had at breakfast this morning...

I spent 2 hours after work last Monday searching All The Storage Boxes for some @badsquiddogames.bsky.social ravens. Then looking in all the places I knew they wouldn't be, as you do. I've found them now. On my desk. They were there all week, about six inches from my hand.

Oh please, we only had a little nibble.

I was lamenting the fact that my cats get tired of one brand of food after two days then I tried to think of it in a different way and asked myself "What if YOU ate salt’n’vinegar crisps every day?" then realised I do that already and that my cats should shut the fuck up and stop acting so entitled.

That Basil Brush is a lot nicer to be around now he's got the drinking under control and spruced himself up a bit.

Decided to make it five signed books, not three, I'm giving away to people who share this. Because my thieving ex-publishers can fuck off. Because I believe this book is good enough to be read and enjoyed for many years. Because it's the only pension I'll have. And because why fucking not.

In last night's RuneQuest game, it emerged that our PCs had come back from a heroquest in a different place to where we'd been unexpectedly drawn into it. "Where are our horses!?" The news that our horses were ~60 miles away was not universally well received. :D

I got my copy of this from @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social today. I haven't had time to start reading it yet because of inconvenient things like having to work to earn money to buy more books. But I thoroughly enjoyed the previous book of his that I read, so I'm feeling an unusual amount of hope.

Heresy Miniatures make some really great miniatures, especially the monsters and the gangs. Plus, Andy's great to deal with. You can't go wrong! Unless you're worried about too many more miniatures too paint. But that's a problem for Tomorrow You, right, and who cares about them?
