Progress update on my cobblestone road material Geo scattering failed me here, or more likely I just suck too much at math for this particular problem, so having to arrange all these rocks by hand like a real stone mason. Props to those who do this in real life.

End result of my procedural cloud experiments - quite happy with this, it looks lovely in full 3D as well, with full gradient effects visible. Back to playing with stones, now that the sky is fixed.

Figured out where the sky texture geo node tab was hiding... many hours of playing with procedural clouds.

Last time you'll see these rocks (and their future 8 companions) until they go into full cobblestone material scattering Managed to get a fair bit of depth and detail, they're low poly and sharing bake maps.

Cold enough today I put on some garb socks from my old #sewing days... No, this fabric does NOT stretch, they're tailored via historical means. If I were less lazy I'd add the calf ties, but for now they are held warmly by sweatpants.

Just starting to poke at the new 5.0 #blender sky texture stuff... and it's amazing, that multi-scatter light is so nice (and easy!) Lighting is one of my weaker skills, I'm usually lazily relying on free HDRIs.. have a feeling I'll be painting some clouds pretty soon.

Spatial warps are the real "magic sauce" of Keeper's morph tech. Since we use an implicit surface representation we can easily bend and distort space before the distance fields are sampled. This example is a showcase for the twist warp... Left: along-axis. Right: distance-from-center.

Was trying to catch a good picture of this monarch when another swooped into view, diving at the feeding butterfly for territory- I managed to catch this single unedited pic with my phone and bad reflexes, capturing both monarchs in the same shot and getting a decent look at the wings
