I want to give a shoutout to Rebellion for diversifying their modern output as of late. Atomfall was really excellent as a new IP western RPG, they released a sports game earlier this year called Speedball, and next year they have a sci-fi narrative game called Alien Deathstorm.

I’m finally slowly watching through the Twilight Zone. I’m in love.

I've been making LODs all morning and its sooo satisfying. Bit tricky at moments but when you get the polycount, the normals and everything under control, its just so satisfying. A nice break from props or environment art work.

I feel like there are a lots visuals in games that were born due to creativity related to tech limitations. Those not being there would yield art much different. Media that wont have the same cultural impact. To use filter on top, one that is genAI & retouch all is to remove the artistic intent.

I just finished reading Holly by Stephen King. Absolutely loved it. I was sure it would be controversial because of the mention and use of Covid, but oh boy, are the reviews bombed by anti-science cult members. It’s entertaining to read the reviews just as much as the book.

Turns out you can just have a sizeable record collection just with ghibli soundtrack, image records and orchestral covers. The non soundtracks have the best art of the lot.

A large clay jar designed for storing a variety of dry goods and those suspended in liquid, as well as a ladle and strainer for dispensing them. The ladle also features a rear spout so that when tilted backwards it can pour more accurately. #gameart #substancepainter #indiedev #gamedev #b3d

Surprisingly, Microslop gave me zero issues. The villain turned out to be Wacom, who tried to convince me "oh no :( your stylus is no longer supported :( buy a new one, sad face" Grabbed few different ones from the Internet Archive and settled on WacomTablet_6.3.8-4.exe working for my Intuos Pro M.
