Why did I have such a strenuous day? If only I could remain awake and play more Silksong... It really does evince all those years of effort and artistry. So immediately and obviously — it's utterly exceptional. Can't wait to read what others think and what they discover.

Hollow Knight (2017). I remember underestimating this game. Its art direction is rather disarming and simply doesn't prepare one for the sheer beauty and poignance through its many strata of geology, time and regret. It unveils itself as a masterpiece and did so again on my revisit.

The times when I block out limited time to work on the project and then just sit paralyzed are considerably upsetting, it's like a logistical vertigo and then I feel profoundly guilty.

Purposefully being a little annoying here, but my take is that if you can make it through a book, you're not too young for it! A book can't just ~happen to you~ like a movie, they're kinda inherently age-gated.
