Marathon (2026). Seduced by sheer aesthetics, I now find myself in thrall to the gameplay loop and the predatory thrill of high-risk player kinetics.

Finished the ascent up Kami. So few games even explicitly about a journey convey the feeling of one — completely unlike this. It's a special and magical experience even before reaching a transcendent conclusion. I could not recommend it more highly.

Was trying for one additional rep on the incline barbell press when my knee all but dislocated and I rapidly lowered the bar on my face. Didn't injure myself there apart from bent glasses though my knee is swelling with fluid from a likely ligament tear.

Cairn (2026). The immersive interface setting produces such a glorious analogue pressure of feeling the fatigue of overstretched limbs through a controller's vibration. The level of tension evoked is astonishing as is the artistry of painterly firmaments and gorgeous inverse kinematics.
