I’m not sure it’s the kids that need banned from social media. I reckon just about every millennial in this country has at least one ageing parent that has been brainwashed by Facebook in the last 5-10 years. Ban the pensioners and we’d all find ourselves in a far healthier democracy.

I will be leaving social media next spring (not Bluesky where ban doesn’t apply) because I don’t want to submit sensitive ID information which may be vulnerable to hacks & misuse. I sense lots of people older than 16 will do similar. I actually feel quite positive about it. Might stop OUR addiction.
