I get the criticism about the bad dude in Supergirl, but I really enjoyed it.

Goose is allowed to do whatever she wants– including quit‐ and thats absolutely fine. whatever allows her to preserve her creative spirit so she can keep making art. for herself primarily. that was a soul bearing, crushing story and mad respect forever for it. I salute you.

Our hearts break for the loss of our industry colleague, Luis de la Rosa. He worked freelance alongside many of our members over the years, and is remembered as a talented animator and positive presence to all who knew him. His loss has left a hole in our community and will be deeply missed.

So far I'm not hooked on the story yet but the designs and animation on Dragon Striker are pretty great.

Ha! Who didn’t see the kickstarter delay coming. There’re young and just out of school, so I’m not going to dunk on them. We’ve all done some takes we regret. Hopefully they learn from this and move forward in a positive way.

For non production work I really do wish animation software had more capabilities to record audio on the fly. I wouldn’t use it on professional projects for obvious reasons but if I wanted to speed run a quick board idea or silly joke it would be a big time saver.

Wow. Thats sure is one way to nuke your kickstarter before even launching it. It proves to me they don’t even understand the Indie studio concept. We aren’t competing against eachother. We lift eachother up. That’s how it grows and thrives. (There’s other sus things about their message too)

I’ve played a LOT of wuthering waves to try and get to the part with the edgerunners colab. Holy shit this game pops off in act 2. There’s some great storytelling and some brilliant animation. There’s such character to each persons battle animations too. Guess I’ve been sleeping on this.
