Farage, Reform, the BBC and almost all UK newspapers ignore this, but always focus their anti minority hate agenda on other smaller non-white perpetrator cases. This one is massive, but is ignored by the UK propaganda machine.

🧵And we're off, ladies and gentlemen! It's "they're banning the word EASTER" week. Regular as clockwork... So here comes a history lesson and media lesson all rolled into one thread! PS, I can't believe there's no easter egg emoji? This was the best I could do - 🗿🥚 🤣 I digress! 1/19

We should all spare thoughts for those Trump sympathisers who left the violent hell-hole of London for the, er... safety of Dubai. I'm not smirking, promise.

Former UK PM Gordon Brown is providing - voluntarily and not for the first time - information to the police about abuses of power relating to the Epstein files. As PM Brown was briefed against by people such as Alistair Campbell and Peter Mandelson as being ‘psychologically flawed’ ….1/

This clip is all over the other place and has made its way onto GB News and Talk TV so I’ll do a bit of an explainer here too! The clip doing the rounds is of a fantastic police officer telling a group of Muslim men that a Christian preacher nearby is entitled to freedom of expression. 🧵 1/19

One of the few things that might actually get some kind of reaction from Musk would be the government and all MPs simply leaving X. This doesn't require regulatory or legal action. There are no barriers. They could *and should* just do it.

There's a saying in Germany: When there are 11 people at the table and one of them is a Nazi and 10 don't speak out, then there are 11 Nazis at the table. I know life is never as easy and clearcut as this, as on a moral level. I just wanted to leave it here.

Trump is probably focused on the money he wrongly thinks he'll make from Venezuelan oil. But he's not a details guy and nobody has thought through the details. Essentially, the US has taken over Venezuela by mistake. Stranger things have happened, but not many.

Stranger Things
The 1980s Nostalgia of Trump's Foreign Policy is probably going to end up, like Stranger Things, as a horror show.

His opportunism is bad enough. But never forget that this is the same Nigel Farage who allegedly made hissing noises and whispered "Hitler was right" to a Jewish contemporary at school. Things he has NEVER apologised for.

The fact is no presenter has ever had to leave the BBC for expressing conservative views, or even explicitly endorsing a right-wing party. Was never a problem for Jeremy Clarkson. Was never a problem for Andrew Neil. Was never a problem for Alan Sugar

I for one will definitely be ignoring pesky health professionals & turning instead to newspaper columnists who backed Brexit, Boris Johnson, Donald Trump & Liz Truss for all my expert health advice during this very serious flu outbreak.

See what’s happening. A Trumpist US media company has taken over Channel 5. Another US company is gunning for ITV. Our social media is saturated by Musk’s calls for civil war in the UK. The BBC is the last thing standing, and Trump/Johnson are trying to bring it down

Just absolutely classic BBC. You've just broadcast the most successful programme of the year, uniting Gen Z kids online and Boomers on broadcast in a return to appointment television. And instead of celebrating, your DG reigns due to a made-up right-wing scandal.

Remember the time Obama personally caught a fainting woman during his speech — rather than just blankly staring like a sociopath? Character isn't something you tell people about. It's something you live.

This is what is happening. It is cynical. It is strategic. It is organised. It is well funded. And we need to pay attention. The far right - and their cheerleaders, mimics, tribute acts, and handmaidens have identified two presentational frameworks that give them cut-through and traction. 1/7

If you don’t like being called a racist, maybe don’t make a career of saying things that appeal to racists, don’t create a political party that keeps attracting racist candidates, don’t fawn over racist world leaders, and don’t make a convicted racist the guest of honour at your party conference.
