All those variant covers for BOTH versions of the Superman/Spider-Man crossoversā¦one of them *must* have featured Mullet Superman and/or the Scarlet Spider, right? I canāt be bothered to look it up.

The Clayface trailer looks fun. Hereās my take on the Mud Pack, all four Clayfaces who teamed up to fight Batman in a classic Norm Breyfogle DETECTIVE COMICS arc.

Thereās a weird little stretch of Marvel books from the early ā70s where the periods have been omitted from all the dialogue, and the result is that the characters all sound like theyāre really, really bored.

Three randos I pulled out of my Marvel reprint box for perusal last night, not a bad one in the bunch. I really need to invest in a spinner rack for my home office one of these days, Iād love to fill it up with stuff like this.

Ed Hannigan really could use some kind of retrospective art book. This 2010 tribute is great, but I would love to see a more comprehensive (and maybe oversized?) collection of his cover work.

Lots of rampant speculation in comics lately, new 1st issues selling out & going for wild money online due to weird market manipulation & mass FOMO. Did we learn nothing from the industry crash of the 90s? My comic THE MAKERS lays out my feelings on this stuff (itās also a cosmic adventure story).

Medusa of the Inhumans. The first few comics I ever read featuring this character had her fighting Spider-Man, so as a kid I thought she was a Spidey villain.

At this rate, the first issue of this comic should be ready to go on sale around, oh, 2029 or so. I gotta pick up the pace!

A random issue of NOVA just might get you Carmine Infantino inked by Steve Leialoha, a bunch of crazy punches & poses, and an unexplained Sherlock Holmes robot at the dinner table.

Neither GREMLINS movie has had a comics adaptation. Had it happened, in either case, who should have produced it , and why? Feel free to make your caseācite precedent, provide evidence, etc.

DC UNIVERSE: LEGACY issue 8 from 2011 has an 8-page backup New Gods story drawn by Frank Quitelyā¦not nearly enough pages for me, but Iāll take it. That reveal of Orionās true face at the end is delightfully gruesome.

Another find in my collection this morningāa favorite issue from my childhood, signed by artist Marshall Rogers at a Toronto show in 2003. The Calculator is one goofy bastard, but Iāll always have a soft spot for him because of this issue.

I was sorting my zines this AM and I found this gemāearly work from

! I would have picked this up at Maine Comic Arts Fest in 2012, I believe, not knowing that I was meeting a future favourite creator of mine.

I have a group chat with some friends and sometimes it devolves into us just making up titles for nonexistent Star Trek TOS episodes. We should be documenting it more because weāve come up with some good ones, but sadly I just have these notes in my phone to show for it.
