It says something about John Burns as an artist that he didn't want to draw Judge Dredd, was obviously a bad stylistic match for Judge Dredd and you can still make the point that he's in the top 10% of Judge Dredd artists...

I think a dream comics biography for me would be a well-researched, honest, look at Roy Thomas. And I really can't stand most Roy Thomas' comics, but he's such an interesting figure at the crossroads of the industry.
