Y'know... When this series started in 2009 Britain releasing itself from the yoke of European tyrrany was just another counterfactual. Reads very differently in a post-Brexit world. (Though obviously unintentional, the politics of this series remain of left-liberal sort)

Couple of the girls at the youth center I volunteer at got some 'AI app' that shows them an 'Idealized' version of themselves. And it keeps giving them lighter skin tone (most of them are from a Tigray background), really gross stuff.
