America is where it is statistically inevitable that many people will endure multiple gun massacres

I’ve been reporting on the gun industry + lobby for a decade. Whatever we learn abt what happened at Brown, this will be the ultimate truth: The only people who benefit from the status quo on guns in America are the people who make money from guns in America. Everyone else is an acceptable casualty.

Make no mistake: We DO NOT have to live and die like this. Our lawmakers fail us every day that they refuse to take action on gun violence. Our hearts go out to the victims’ loved ones, the survivors, and the entire Brown University community. No one should ever be forced to experience their pain.
