This is 100% true. I have been in the exchange for the past year. I pay $680 a month right now for a single policy. I would have a really hard time paying double. Luckily I turn 65 in Dec. But many that could otherwise retire b’fore 65 will not be able to do that.

My new insurance is costing 1,000 a month and it’s only partially covering my asthma medicine. I just had to put that out here. So I have to find a new medicine now but my insurance only lets me see my doctor once a month and I just went. This is the world Americans are “living” in right now.

I find it interesting that they immediately find funding for their security when it’s taken years to even harden school entrances. I don’t disagree with them wanting security but schools have been dealing with this for years with not a lot of support to change something quickly.
