Recently I made some carrot soup with carrots from our garden. The greens I used for pesto today, together with some walnurs from our tree. I have like 3kg of various berries frozen and neighbours gave me pears and grapes I will turn into jam tomorrow. I feel so homestead-y, yeah

Curse pinterest and it‘s awesome gardening ideas. Planted our strawberry runners in some rain gutters which will be hung up on a south facing wall :3 I will also try to put garlic inbetween some of the strawbs, we‘ll see if that will work :3

Today I found a bucket list mushroom of mine 🤩 beefsteak mushroom or fistulina hepatica! I didn‘t pick it because I had nothing to transport it in but I tasted a little bit. Fruity, mildly sour taste, bit mushroomy, very nice. One of the few wild mushrooms you can eat raw actually :)

Anyone remembers those? As a kid I never wore brand clothing as we could‘t really afford it. When those jackets were trendy I wanted one soooo badly. Never had one. But now I have adult money and now I can finally get myself one and the thought makes me so happy?

I always was content with being myself, but recently it's the best I've ever been. I feel good with myself, I feel good with how I perform at work, my social circle is awesome, I'm doing the things I always wanted to do. I am very grateful for the life I'm currently living.

Built something for my herbs :3 5 kinds of mint, purple sage, tyhme, santolina virens and woodruff. Two spaces are still empty, maybe bear's garlic and... something else haha. Rosemary, basil and oregano have other spots in the garden.
