Finally got a Japanese copy of Ogre Battle on sfc! It’s got a legendary manual, with a full colour, episodic manga and those beautiful unit illustrations. I’ve never got very far in the game tbh, but hopefully having the boxed game will encourage me to give it another go. #blutoid #ogrebattle

Having toddlers is so bizarre! Earlier I had the audacity to suggest to my 2 year old that he mightn’t want to eat dinner in the trousers he’d just haphazardly soaked with his own wee. He replied, with a full throated yell, “Never!” - then yelled for a further 10 mins while we just waited.

I love Kazuma Kaneko's design art. It worked perfectly for the lower poly count models from the time. Similarly like Bruce Timm's style for animation. Basically you get a lot out of a little and it holds up very well. I don't like the fixed camera system. Still very much enjoying the game. #blutoid

Still wrapping up Ys X: Proud Nordics, but I can say that Ys X remains a fantastic Action RPG. Proud Nordics generally improves upon it, but it mostly adds more stuff (which could have been DLC). Not an essential upgrade, but great if you haven’t played it or finished the game needing more. #blutoid
