Wow, that shipped quick. I rarely get 1 day shipping when I do pay for it. Assumed it was on back order (I have a couple games that won't ship for a week or more) and would ship late because of the holidays. These Amiibo are noticeably larger than previous "standard" sized ones. #blutoid

Yeah, I'm pretty terrible at Tokon, ha. I do wish there were 1on1 and 2on2 matches instead of only 4on4. It's a bit too hectic for me. The combos high level players pull off are crazy. Great looking though, and probably a lot of fun to watch in the next EVO. Definitely a fun time. #blutoid

I played this a bunch back when it was out. Kinda jank, but pretty good soundtrack (mostly electronic, with a couple songs that kinda reminded me of Portishead) and simple controls. Not a great looking game, but those Saturn/PS1 graphics are super nostalgic nowadays.

Played a bit of the Tokon closed beta. It's a 4 on 4 combo heavy fighter and gets hectic real fast. I've mostly been playing arcade against cpu while getting used to the systems. It's really solid overall. I can see it getting popular. Looks great--just like GG Strive, for obvious reasons. #blutoid

Definitely nailed the audio/visual presentation in MP4. The opening area music has strong Halo vibes, with the guitar coming in, and the HDR is easily the best on the system that I've seen. Like first party Playstation level good. The 120hz is nice, but the high res mode stands out better. #blutoid

Is this a sleeper? Grabbed it for $20, and it's definitely worth that. It got low review scores, but a recent update rebalanced a bunch of stuff. I didn't play the unpatched version and can't speak on how much was changed. Kinda getting FF16 at home vibes, but I dig the PS2 levels of goofy. #blutoid

The final game that I got during early black Friday deals arrived. I forgot about this game completely. The 1987 film is my all-time favorite so I got the first game, and enjoyed it, but thought this was just dlc. Guess they made it a stand alone like XC2 Torna. #blutoid #robocop

Couple more games. Chronicles of the Wolf is a Castlevania clone, and so far a pretty good one. I got it for $15 with Hotel Barcelona--stay away from that one, yikes. 3rd game should be here tomorrow. The Toaplan collection is an import, and it's really good. Great selection of games! #blutoid

Wow, Hotel Barcelona is really bad. I know people are hyperbolic and say things like, "this could run on PS3", yada yada. Well, this literally could. The game defaults to 1080p because 4k makes the framerate and input lag bonkers bad. It's held together by duct tape and childhood dreams. #blutoid

Didn't want to buy a new controller, but my 5 year old day 1 controller began to drift wildly. At least it's pretty, ha. Guess I've been lucky though, it was the first controller I've ever had a drift issue with. Surprisingly none of my Joycons or other controllers ever experienced it. #blutoid

Guess it'll be Friday before I finish NG4. Didn't play yesterday, but before I'd get random stutter steps to the left. It was rare and I couldn't reproduce at will so I didn't think much of it. By the end of Chapter 17 Ryu was running in circles nonstop, lol. Controllers are expensive 🎮😓 #blutoid

Night Striker Gear just released out of nowhere, at least on Steam. It's not showing on the eshop yet though. It's from M2 ShotTriggers and directed by Treasure vet Hiroshi Iuchi (director of Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga, Gradius V, etc.). Can we chill with all the game releases, lol. #blutoid
